Very nice and finely carved briar pipe depicting the love scene between Leda and the swan (Zeus). There is one small chip to the front of the bowl, and one chip where the stam would be arttached. The carving itself is in excellent condition. Long: ca. 17 cm.

Exceptional Schwartzwald pipe with finely detailed carving. The bowl consists of forest scenes with details like squirrels and birds in the trees. The stem has a boy climbing the trunk, and on top of the stem is a bird's nest. The bottom of this pipe has on one side the head of a boar and on the other the head of a stag. Excellent condition!! Nice wooden pipe depicting Mazeppa strapped to the back of a running horse. This pipe is carved after a painting by Horace Vernet called "Mazeppa and the wolves" (see added image). Very nice wooden pipe depicting drinking paraphernalia. The Bowl is a hand holding wooden stein, the stem has an image of king Gambrings in low reli๋f, and the mouthpiece is a horn and ivory barrel. Etremely fine craftanship, never been smoked! Long: 29 cm.
