PO/001 Portrait of a medieval lady    

This pipe is very, very finely hand painted. It depicts the portrait of a woman in medieval (?) garb, wearing a bloodcoral necklace and a band in het hair. The shank has the blue stripe indicating KPM as manufacturor, ca. 1830. This pipe stil have the original stem where the bands match the lid. All of which are gold plated. Excellent condition. Total length is 31 cm.

PO/004 Portrait of a sailor defending a woman    

This is a nicely hand painted porcelain pipe depicting a sailor (sinbad?) defending a woman. I have seen this painting on pipes before so posibly it is a rendering from an engraving of oil painting. This pipe is unmarked, ca. 1850. This pipe has the original stem, beautifully fitted with gilt rings, rims and lid. Excellent condition. Height of bowl: 13.5 cm. Total length is 30 cm.

This pipe is very, very finely hand painted. It depicts the portrait of a woman in bed, wearing a shawl. Next to the bed is a fruitbowl. AR/002 Böttger steinzeug Luther pipe

This is an exceptionally rare porcelain pipe, the material resembling (or similar to) Böttger Stoneware. The colour of this pipe is tan/yellow and the pipe is marked "E.L." on the shank. This pipe was made in Ruhla around 1850 and very few of these pipes are known. The last auction record on a similar pipe was 1850 Euro incl. bid premium (Germany). The difference in price is due to 3 very, very fine hairlnes. (see pics.) Height of bowl: 11,5 cm.

Nice cylindrical porcelain pipe with handpainted scene f 2 hunting dogs. The painter signed this pipe with "HvM". POssbly painted after an engraving. This pipe is in excellent condition but unmarked and without fitments. Height of bowl: 9,5 cm.

PO/022 Equestrian school    

This is a nice, handpainted pipe depicting a large building and a type of corrall where a rider is practising tricks. This pipe is in excellent condition and comes with the original stem. There is a vague blue stripe on the tip of the shank but I doubt that this pipe is KPM. Ca. 1850.Height of bowl: 12.5 cm. Total length is 31 cm.
