Stone pipe

This is a very rare and early tobacco pipe. Very likely from the region of Hungary and dating back to the late 18th century. The pipe is carved from a solid block of sandstone (it weighs app. 1.4 kg!!) and the surface is painted in cream, red, yellow and blue. This piep is quite large; 14 x 14 cm. and in excellent condition. After 200+ years only some paint is missing.

Figural amber pipe

This is a nice amber (not meerschaum) cheroot holder carved as the head of a german officer's head. The carving is very fine and well executed. The insert is meerschaum and the stem is missing. There are a few chips on the stem section (see pics.) the pipe is 6.5 cm. tall.

Copper and brass pipe

This pipe is a very nice example of a metal pipe executed in the shape of a meerschaum. This Hungarian example is made of copper and brass with an iron lined chamber.It has a very fine patina but unfortunally the clasp on the lid is missing. It comes from the early 1800's. Length is ca. 12 cm., 8 cm. tall

Aluminium pipe

Nice pipe and ninteresting example of a marriage between 2 materials (clay and aluminium) to make a new concept. This pipe was made in the USA and dates from around 1950. Length is ca. 15 cm.

Silver Empire pipe

This is a nice and fairly rare type of pipe. It basically consists of a silver covered clay pipe, assembled with a ball for catching moist, and a ferrule to allow a reed stem. The silver is hallmarked (see pic) for small objects, Paris. This hallmark was in use between 1809 and 1819. The pipe has dents and the bowl is slit over the seems. Fair condition. Total length is ca. 8.3 cm.

Double bowled horn pipe

This is yet another exceptionally rare pipe; a double bowled pipe made of a pair of horns (stags?) from a mountain goat (Gems). The lids are made of silver. This pipe is in very good condition. The only weak area is the connection to the right horn (see pics) Total length is ca. 34 cm.

OT/002 Austrian silver pipe in case

This is another exceptionally rare pipe; a tall silver pipe made of 2 types of silver; one is decorated repoussée and the other is engraved. The stem is made of engraved and cold pressed silver. The core of the pipe bowl is meerschaum. It comes in the original case (excellent condition).This pipe is in mint condition with the exception of the mouthpiece that is missing.

Total length is 49 cm. without the mouthpiece.

OT/001 Pistol pipe

This is a very special and very rare pipe. Rare, even for those who have been collecting for many years. The main body of the pipe consists of a converted ca. 1840 travel pistol with retractable trigger. This is most likely a one-off piece by an arms smith and possibly made for a respected cliënt. On the barrel/pipe bowl a name is engraved: "Fr. Gugger".

Total length is ca. 34 cm.

18 century English iron churchwarden

This is an extremely rare english churchwarden made of iron. It is and 18th century example of a blacksmith masterwork. Usually these churchwardens have the typical stretched, slightly curved stem but this one is bend into a "pretzel". Never seen it before and it makes this rare pipe even rare among it's peers. Excellent condition
